Another week gone by and we're exactly one week away from Christmas Day! This week flew by and I am eager for the holiday break. I have to finish up my Christmas shopping (yikes!) and I'm going to be doing quite a bit of baking. What will you be doing on this last weekend before Christmas?
Another great and full week. This week I'm grateful for:
--Getting to spend a whole day with my mom, nothing like a girl day w/shopping + lunch
--My dad--he just celebrated another year of greatness
--vitamin C, it is sustaining me from getting a full blown cold
--a nice warm house in this cold, dreary weather

-Accomplishing most of my to-do list for the week
-The love of my husband
-Getting to see a certain AMAZING painting that was made especially for us :-)
-The cozy feel of the holidays. Oh how I LOVE Christmas!!
This weekend I will be:
-Getting a pedicure (I'm so overdue!)
-Picking up my step-daughters from the airport
-Shopping with them (one of their Christmas gifts is $50 (each) to spend on 2 deserving kids that may not have any presents to open otherwise)
-Doing a test run on a Chocolate Bourbon Cake that I'm hoping to gift to neighbors (wish me luck!)

Thank goodness I just finished my Christmas shopping, because I'll be in Durham for a wedding this weekend. I'm grateful for a warm house, as well, and especially for my cozy bed.
