My love of all things ballet continues as I find myself bookmarking beautiful ballerina images often. One of these days I'll enroll in a ballet class and see if my years at the barre come back to me. I thought I'd share a few of my recent favorite finds with you.

Great Full Friday
I've been in a bit of a rut this week...I have a lot going on and I feel like my mind is spinning but I'm not getting anywhere. Ever have one of those weeks? Good thing this week was a short work week! I'm looking forward to some celebrating this weekend and lots of cuddling with my hubby. What are your weekend plans?
This week I am grateful for:
This week I am grateful for:

Happy Things
The past few weeks I've found a few items that I really love and are making me happy. So I thought I'd share them with you guys so maybe they can make you happy too.

Crest Vivid White
Having fair skin I have to work extra hard to keep my teeth looking their whitest (my dentist told me that those with fair complexions have it the worst because their skin tones make white teeth look less white). Even with a very good grade of white teeth my skin takes a bit of the glow away. So I tried this toothpaste a few weeks ago and have been using it since. I love it. It leaves my teeth feeling all slippery like I just left from a cleaning and maybe it is just me but I feel like my teeth look whiter.

Mini Nilla Wafers
They are so freakin' cute! Everything is cuter in "mini" form right? And they make banana pudding in individual glasses extra fun!

Silly Putty
Yep, I'm going on 30 and this is on my list. The other day when doing some gardening my hubby found a Silly Putty Easter egg from our hunt that was never found. Ever since I've been playing with the goopy stuff when pondering blog posts, and on computer breaks. The yellow clump sits on my desk for when I need a putty break. Okay that's pretty sad huh?

Sleep Machine App
I love falling asleep to the sound of rain. Like a sound machine in my iphone, I program this app each night and drift off to sleep and it shuts itself off. Pretty nifty.
What things are making you happy these days? Making your life a bit more fun and maybe easier? I'd love to know!

I-Color
So I've discussed before my lack of lashes and my plight to change this. Sadly my eyelash upkeep has fallen by the wayside. I fell off the RapidLash wagon (I need to hop back aboard pronto) AND my Lancome Definicils was clumpy and beyond the safe-to-be-used point. I consulted the lash maven's blog for wisdom and decided to give Avon a shot. Alas Avon ladies alluded me (if you are or know one let me know) so my lashes remained skimpy and pitiful.
Finally in an act of desperation I ran to the drug store for something, anything to pump up my meager lashes and returned with Almay i-color mascara. To be honest I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. My eyelashes once curled were actually touching my cheeks when I blinked--it was kind of weird for me because of my normal skimpy bats. I'm not sold if the mascara brings out the color of my eyes but I am not too concerned with this anyway. For now I'm pretty pleased to not have to shell out major $$ for mascara. Just thought I'd share my latest find!
Almay didn't pay me or compensate me for posting this. I just found an inexpensive beauty product that I thought was worth sharing.

Marvels and Wonders

As do most people I know, I love Anthropologie's creativity as a company. Their new Marvels and Wonders collection has impressed me. The way they've combined photography + illustration makes me happy.

The Beekman 1802 A Year In The Country Soaps have really caught my eye. The set of twelve soaps all feature fragrances of the season, a perfect scent evolution as the months go by. May (thousands of spring greens) and October (fallen leaves and crackling apple wood) have my curiosity peeked. Wouldn't this box make a perfect gift? Each little soap is wrapped up so sweetly making it a gift to enjoy all year long.

Sweet Treat--But Not to Eat!

Caramel Candy Apple Soap would be a cute treat for special little ghouls and goblins--it won't rot their teeth, but keep them clean (quite a trade off). It'd also be a super cute teacher's gift and comes wrapped and ready to give. Best part is that it's only 9 bucks including shipping. Yummy!
Now I'm craving a good old fashion caramel apple--one I can bite into.
To Be Continued...

Beach Days
By now you may know I am a beach lover. Yesterday when shopping with my mom at a lovely local shop I found the Beach Days line from The Good Home Co. Dish soap, laundry detergent, soap, hand lotion and more that all smell just like a day at the beach. If the scent of my beach vacations could be bottled they would smell just like this. As summer days and seaside memories fade these products can keep a little bit of the beach close by.

CB Perfume

I'm loving the concept behind CB I Hate Perfume: "Scent is Life." Mostly though, the themes and history behind the scents are so unique and interesting to me. My picks would be: At the Beach 1966, Eternal Return, In The Library, and To See a Flower. The little bottles are great too...how pretty would it be to display them all in a row? I think I'm sold on this original perfume concept. What are your favorite scents?
