New Orleans Neutral

It seems like every thing in New Orleans is alive with vivid colors. I'm loving the Maselli's neutral home in The Crescent City. While maintaining a chromatic palette in the home, it still feels comfortable and welcoming...not cold or sterile. Hints of color appear here and there but I bet this calm color scheme is a welcome retreat from the lively saturation of 'Nawlins!

  1. That looks like a perfectly inviting retreat. Thank you for sharing that lovely space. I came over from a link on Simply Hue. I loved the name of your blog and I knew I would love what was contained therein. Thank you for being an inspiration. Enjoy the day! Erin

  2. that is amazing! love the light streaming in. I really dig how there is a lot of furniture, but everything still feels light and airy. The pops of pink in the flowers makes me melt. thanks for the inspiration!

  3. I'm not normall drawn to neutral color palettes but I love this!!

  4. That was supposed to say "normally."

  5. Oh wow. I love neutrals, and clean looking, but not cold and empty, and this home looks warm, cozy, inviting, and fresh. I'll take two of those please ;)

  6. What a lovely, calm and peaceful looking home. And those shutters, beautiful!

  7. So glad to know about this the neutral decor in this posting.

  8. Tali: You can have two, if you share one with me. :-)

    Karin: The shutters ARE gorgeous!

Mary Grace: I'm glad to have you here. Hope you'll visit often.

    Gratefully yours,
