Harvest Picnic

Sunday is the night of the Harvest Moon. On this night the moon appears bigger and fuller than it does normally. My hubby and I were lucky enough to get married on the night of the Harvest Moon and we felt as though we could reach up and touch it. We got some amazing photos of us under the glowing orb and obviously this solar event is special to us each year.

The weather has finally cooled off a bit here and it is kind of sort of feeling like fall. It has me in the mood to have a little autumn picnic. Wouldn't it be lovely to dine amongst falling leaves and watch the large, stunning moon make its appearance. Of course a menu including warm soup, pumpkin pie and hot cocoa would be a necessity.

Don't these photos inspire you to head outside?

  5. Umm, can I just transplant myself into that little world? It is perfectly lovely. Although I love Co Cal weather for much of the yeat, 90 degrees on Oct 1st was a bit much. I am looking for a bit of fall here. For now, these pictures will have to do.
    I love your blog!
