Fortunate Cookies

One of my favorite food blogs is Dine and Dish. I've tried a few of Kristen's recipes and have many more saved to try out soon. I hope to one day to become the kind of cook who can come up with her own yummy concoctions but until then I am content to turn to a good recipe wherever it may be found.

When browsing D&D looking for inspiration for my weekly menu I came across Kristen's "Fortunate cookies" and had to share. She made fortune cookies for Thanksgiving and filled them with things her guests emailed her they were thankful for. Cute idea, no? This idea would also be cute if you filled the cookies with reasons you are fortunate to have each guest in your life. So many opportunities to express gratitude...and this one is extra cute!

Have any good ways to share gratitude with others? I'd love to hear!

  1. I love the idea of using fortune cookies...they seem like they are complicated to make but they are probably easier than I think. I hope you are having a good week. I am off to check Kristen's blog out.
