Mantel Wishes
I wish I had a mantel...not a fireplace, but a mantle. Sadly the two so regularly go together. Here in Louisiana, it is absolutely not necessary to have fireplace. Fireplaces here are most certainly an item of decoration for most of their lives. And with this decorative luxury comes responsibility: cleaning it and maintaining the chimney. Too much work for me--just give me the mantel!
