So this year I'm claiming March as my birthday month too! I figure it will be fun to have an excuse to celebrate, right? The month is starting off great. The Bright Side Project (which I am lucky to be a part of) turned one today and we have some amazing giveaways going on right now. I'm looking forward to taking a day trip to NOLA this weekend to see "Dream Come True" an exhibit at the art museum. And the first day of Spring is right around the corner (and we'll get more daylight soon too!)
So to kick off my "birthday month" I'm making my dream wish list. Remember as a kid making mile long gift wish lists and truly believing each and every item would be delivered to you on that day? I miss that kind of magical thinking! As an adult, I now know how lucky + blessed I am to be able to have such a superficial wish list when so many around the world are dreaming of basic needs being met. God is good!
it's my birthday month, too! happy birthday to us. your wish list is very pretty... that amy butler rug is to die for...
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely list. I always thing you have the greatest taste and frequently have shopped off of your recommendations. : )
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday month to you!!!
Becca: Happy birthday month! If you like the rug, head to The Bright Side Project stat...we are giving one away!
ReplyDeleteJen: What a sweet compliment. You've officially made my day!
Gratefully yours,

happy birthday month to you! i love this idea... one day is just too short anyways. i so agree that as adults we limit ourselves, god, and our dreams because we are so weighted down with life sometimes. not that we need any of it, but it is fun to dream. it's my daughter's birthday month too, and for the past few weeks everything she sees goes onto the birthday "list".
ReplyDeletemy birthday month too! Love your choices :)
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday month!!! Seems to be a popular month...mine too ;O)
ReplyDeleteLOOOOVE the rug too. I'm trying to covince hubby how perfect the one over on the bright side would look in our living room!
Hugs!
loving so many of your choices — i hope you get at least a few for your birthday month :)
ReplyDeletehow can you say something like... people are starving to death, and God is good to me in the same sentence and then make a list of things you want more than those people to be fed. Your god is not in heaven in fact... your god is you.
ReplyDeleteDavid and Lisa, "let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
ReplyDeleteHope you have a happy weekend and find plenty of fun things to do instead of cruelly posting criticism's on people's blogs.
