The Perfect NYE Dress

I hope you had a wonderful holiday! Next up, New year's Eve right? Each year we attend a very casual party at a family member's home...a bonfire, lots of fireworks and good food. Pretty dresses are not exactly an option. While this NYE tradition is one I wouldn't trade, I do kind of wish sometimes I'd have an excuse to buy the perfect celebratory dress. This would be my pick this year if I was in the market.

What are your New Year's Even plans? How do you plan to ring in the new year?

  1. GAME NIGHT! Unfortunately, that means the crowd will be more casual, but I love a frilly dress, too!

  4. we're going to a friend's house. good food, good drinks. i can't really pull off a fancy dress at this occasion either, but i got a sparkly sequin tank to make my jeans and heels combo a bit more festive :).

  5. That is a fabulous dress! Makes me want to change my NYE PJ party plans and go out on the town! I'm keeping it low-key this year and throwing a game/movie night party (wear your PJ's!). My fav NYE though was spent three hours behind all my friends in San Diego, CA, three years ago. It was warm enough to wear a tank top at the hotel party outside, with fireworks over the bay. Perfect.

  6. BlahBlahBlahger: Game night will be fun! And casual = more comfy right?

Melissa: A NYE at the cape sounds lovely! Enjoy!

Lauren: That sounds like a good compromise to dressing up. I always try to pull off something at least a little sparkling. Sometimes I have to end up just wearing a "happy new year" crown though. ;-)

Nifer: A PJ party sounds cute! I've heard of several people who've had those this year. I am thinking of hosting one for Christmas next year. HOpe you have a great time!

    Gratefully yours,
