This week I am grateful for:
- a new client on the books
- a new dress (for the wedding)--found it in the first store, it was just what I wanted and it was on sale too!
- a sweet, unexpected and encouraging card from a friend
- a new opportunity*
* This week the thoughtful Jamie from CSNstores.com contacted me. Remember I did a giveaway for them in the past? They offered to make me a preferred blogger for their 200+ sites. This means I'll get special perks like review items and I'll be able to do giveaways too. They have just about every thing you can imagine: headboards, lighting, bedding--you name it they've got it! Stay tuned for more about CSNstores.

Yay! I'm so happy you got it :-) Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you, my fellow worrier.
ReplyDeleteThis week I'm grateful for feeling better & for the time I've gotten to spend with my husband (he's CRAZY busy at work).
On tap this weekend is a quick day trip to Dallas, the farmer's market, and a cooking event where local chefs showcase their yummy food.
I'm on the hunt for a dress (for a wedding in August) so I must ask...where did you find your dress? I've been looking online FOREVER and can't find anything I love. Hoping to find something on our quick trip to Dallas.
Sounds like a great weekend, a bit of work (but really, photographing a baby isn't work, it's pleasure!) and a bit of fun at the wedding. That's cool you went to school with the bride, and your hubby with the groom :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Cyndi:
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for that! It really brightened my day. You are the best! How was Dallas? Sounds like fun!
I got my dress at Loft: http://www.anntaylorloft.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=25877&N=1200007&pCategoryId=3359&categoryId=211&Ns=CATEGORY_SEQ_211&loc=TN&gridSize=sm&showAll=true&defaultColor=Black&defaultSizeType=Regular
I dressed it up with a long pearl and jewel necklace and some really cute heels. Add a Kate Spade purse and I was set. :-)
Good luck shopping!

ReplyDeleteWe had a great time at the wedding...the funny part was that we weren't sure which side of the aisle to sit on. The bride's side or groom's side? I felt like we should split up or something. haha.
Hope you had a great weekend!
Lindsey
